‘With all respect to Šaban and Džej, but The Alley of Great People should be only for the area of culture. It simply does not make any sense that Šaulić is lying next to Ivo Andrić’, the actress said.

Jelena Tinska considers that Folk Show Business people should have their own cemetery.

The actress, Jelena Tinska (68) says that the has been appalled by the fact that for years Folk Show Business people have been buried on Novo groblje Cemetery in Belgrade in The Alley of Great People, so she claims that they should have their own cemetery.

She told to Srpski telegraf with no restrains that she considered to be abnormal that folk music singers, like Šaban Šaulić and Džej Ramadanovski were buried next to such great artists and writers, such as Ivo Andrić, and she pointed out that she was glad that her late colleague, Lane Gutović, had refused to be buried in this site.

If you ask me, Josip Broz Tito should have been buried in the Alley

- I did not come to the funeral of Lane because such an event is an intimate act for me. I would prefer if nobody came to my funeral. I wouldn’t want people to gather around and watch me being buried in a coffin and thrown into the ground. It is disgusting! I respect Lane for not wanting to be in the Alley of Great People with street frauds and criminals. There are many like them over there. From my point of view, Tito should have been buried there, so you see… People who were not criminals should be there. Singers should make their own Show Business cemetery. That is the place they should be buried in and not the Alley. Can’t you see that Ivo Andrić is there, right next to Šaban Šaulic. Hold on, people, does it make any sense? With all respect to Šaban, Džej and the rest of them for their plans and legacies, but this is the Alley of Great Minds, and it was started with an intention to be within the borders of culture. It is just too much but it is no use in discussing it now when no order exists any more - the actress said.

My father, Aleksandar Petrović, was buried in the Alley when order was respected.

Tinska says that her father, Aleksandar Petrović, was buried in the Alley of Great People in Belgrade, so she has the right to have an opinion on the subject.

- My father was buried in the Alley; at the time there was order to be respected. Anybody who rests in peace there must have had such a contribution to really deserve the place. I have no problem to say publicly what I think, on the contrary. I have always been trying to be clear and concise. I believe many will agree to what I have said, but not everyone will have the guts to stand up and say it in public - the actress says and reminds one more time that her appearance makes a mess anywhere she goes:

- According to all the judgements I am a charismatic person and people are not immune to me wherever I go. I am aware that I am in the centre of attention. It has been a gift from God, but I do not pay much attention to it. Life has sharpened all my senses and I have various interest and knowledge, I swim in all kinds of waters and I manage all situations. I am very radical: I left my husband when I fell in love to another man. Love is the wheel of my energy. Motherhood as well: I sold my apartment to put my children through school. I have courage for everything, and that is very important in life.

Jelena Tinska knows how to provoke people

Tinska: It is not my intention to provoke

Jelena claims that her statements have often been making chaos in public, but she claims that everything she said was not done in purpose.

-I have never been a scandal master. If you remember of any of my scandals feel free to remind me of them. I live a normal and quiet life, and when I make a statement it is usually very honest and direct, so it has a big impact. I like to tell the truth, and I will be attacked only by those who does not like it, but believe me that is not my problem’-the actress says.
