The Wimbledon finals stars Novak Djoković and Matteo Berrettini will have a re-match in the US Open quarter finals, if all things go according to plan.

Ahead of their upcoming duel, the Italian tennis player has stated that the statistics are in Novak's favour, when it comes to the debate on the greatest tennis player of all time:

- The debate is heating up, but even now the figures say that Novak Djoković is the Greatest of All Time. The truth is that what he demonstrates on the tennis court stands above all the titles he has won so far in his career.  There is no doubt that Nole is one of the greatest of this sport - says Matteo.

He is aware of the greatness and of the qualities of the ''Big 3'':

- I was always very open about being a big fan of Roger Federer.  I was one as a kid and I still am to this day.  The Big 3 are amazing, but every single one of them has something special. They are all different, but they share a lot of qualities, so it is very hard to say which specific trait would make each one of them the perfect tennis player.

He also realizes that Federer's farewell to tennis is imminent in the near future: 

- We are obviously living in the time when Federer will be saying goodbye to tennis due to his age and the numerous injuries he has had in the past seasons.  That will be a great loss, but it is good that we still get to enjoy watching these three outstanding champions - Berrettini adds.
