GINGER AND LEMON SYRUP
Ingredients:
300 grams of ginger
7 lemons
500 grams of sugar
1.5 litres of water

Preparation:
Wash the ginger well and without peeling it, cut it into slices. Add sugar and chopped ginger to a liter and a half of water. Bring this mixture to a boil and then continue cooking it for about ten minutes. Cool and then refrigerate for 24 hours. Then strain and mix with squeezed lemon juice. Pour into two glass litre bottles and close well. Serve the syrup diluted with water.
