Details are surfacing about the mysterious death of a Russian diplomat in the embassy of that country in the German capital Berlin, and as RT reports, this was man aged roughly 35, whose body was found outside the building, and as it is stated, he most likely fell through the window.
The German Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a short statement about the incident, revealing only that the man, whose identity was not disclosed, was doing secretarial work in the Russian diplomatic mission, and that he was found dead on 19 October. In addition to this, it was stated that any further comment would be avoided "for ethical reasons".
Both Germany and the Russian Federation did not publish anything about the incident until the German media provided that information today. Thus, Spiegel magazine revealed that the Russian Federation refused to allow the autopsy of a man in Germany and demanded that his body be urgently transported to the homeland.
- German investigators were thus prevented from conducting the investigation because the victim enjoyed diplomatic status - the German newspaper stated and pointed out that it was believed that the Russian was on a secret assignment in Germany.
- This is a person who worked for the main Russian national security agency, the Federal Security Service - Spiegel pointed out.
