On the order of the command of the "border" police unit in Lužani, the start of their shift was moved, most likely due to extraordinary mobilisation.
Members of the mobile "border" unit of the Kosovo Police were ordered to gather two nights ago at 10 PM at the police station of the "border" unit in North Mitrovica, and to wear bulletproof vests and other protective equipment, Informer finds out unofficially.
According to our information, they will receive instructions on the spot on further action on the ground.
Our well-informed sources claim that the regular shift of the Kosovo Police border unit starts at 8 PM, and members are usually deployed at the alternative „Bube“ crossing in Zubin Potok.
However, on the order of the command of the "border" police unit in Lužani, the start of their shift was moved to after 10 PM, most likely due to extraordinary mobilisation.
As we find out, there are more than 250 Kosovo police officers in the convoy of vehicles, which is headed for North Mitrovica.
