Russian military planes were filmed flying over Ukrainian cities.
Russia launched military strikes across Ukraine.
Air raid sirens blare across Kyiv and other cities.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned other countries that any attempt to interfere in Russian action will lead to "consequences they have never seen".
He also called on the Ukrainian army to lay down their arms.
The Russian combat helicopter was filmed in the Ukrainian airspace above Luhansk.
A video of Russian helicopters over Belgorod en route to Ukraine was also published.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced "the beginning of a special military operation", and then reports of shelling began to arrive throughout Ukraine, which soon announced that an invasion of its territory had begun.
