These days, Serbia is the host of the indoor World Athletics Championships, and by the end of the year, it could win the organisation of another planetary championship.
We are talking about the World Volleyball Championship, which will be played from 26 August to 11 September and was primarily planned to be held in Russia.
However, the organisation was taken away from the Russians due to the invasion of Ukraine, so now Serbia could become the host, "World of Volley" reports.
According to the specialised volleyball site, Serbia, Turkey, Poland and Qatar could co-host the championship. The group stage would be held in those countries, while one of them would host the final.
