The ATP tournament in Belgrade will be played from 18 to 24 April, and it seems that the competition will be tougher than ever.
The 250 series tournament in Belgrade will be much tougher than other competitions of the same rank in the world, since all the best Serbian tennis players have confirmed their participation, as well as Andrey Rublev, Dominic Thiem, Gaël Monfils and many others.
Now, in the show "Kec na jedanaest" on the "K1" television the director of the tournament, Djordje Djoković, talked about various topics.
- Come to Dorćol and attend the tournament, come on 17 April, when the entrance will be free of charge, come to watch the qualifications and our young hopefuls, and see what we have done with our Novak Tennis Centre - Djordje said.

The youngest of the Djoković brothers then confirmed that Novak is already training in Belgrade.
- Novak is here, training in Belgrade and preparing for Monte Carlo. He went through a terrible period, but he endured till the end and showed and proved why he is what he is. He was in Dubai and unfortunately lost the quarterfinals there. He lacks the continuity of matches and tournaments, to be on the field. I hope that he will continue with great games, and Belgrade and Monte Carlo are tournaments where he is preparing for Roland Garros and Wimbledon. Until the last moment, he did not know if he would be able to play, but fortunately, he will appear in Paris, Rome, London and Madrid. The ATP does not have much say in this, since rules vary from country to country.
Then he invited Nick Kyrgios to come to Belgrade.
- I want to bring Nick Kyrgios to Belgrade, to thank him for supporting Novak, Belgrade and Serbia. He is an entertainer, he doesn't mince his worsa and he will always express his opinion, whatever it may be. But above all, he is a serious athlete and tennis player. I hope that he will come to the Serbia Open before he finishes his tennis career - Djordje said.
