To neutralize the acidity and make digestion easier, you can use the magic white baking soda powder.

Baking soda or sodium bicarbonate is a great help for neutralizing acidity in the body, which can occur due to excessive consumption of sweet and fatty foods. It has anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties.

Preparation

A pinch of baking soda in your coffee (or 1/8 teaspoon per liter of your favorite beverage) in the West is a kind of folk remedy for neutralizing acidity. Those who have tried it claim that such coffee does not taste like this powder. Although the combination of coffee and baking soda is not known in our region, experts claim that it can really prevent the appearance of acidity in the body.

However, one should bear in mind that putting baking soda in your coffee can have some side effects on the body - increased gas, reduced calcium absorption and a general effect on digestion, warns nutritionist Marija Andrijašević. You may not have known this, but the worst combination is actually coffee and milk, the white beverage increases the acidity of the body, so people who have a sensitive stomach should avoid drinking coffee in this way.
