WHAT IS THAT ON PUTIN'S LEGS?! A detail from the military parade that many missed - A FLURRY OF SPECULATION STARTED! (VIDEO)

Russian President Vladimir Putin watched the military parade on the occasion of the Day of Victory over Fascism, wearing a green blanket over his legs, which additionally encouraged speculations in the British media when it comes to the health condition of the head of Kremlin.

- Putin was seated wearing a buttoned up black puffer jacket with a victory ribbon tied his chest as he watched soldiers and military vehicles roll by in Moscow's famous Red Square. But across his legs was a thick green blanket, which had been left for him on his seat when he first arrived at the viewing platform. It is believed to have been around 9C at the time - the British Sun writes, reminding that in the previous weeks theories started circulating that Putin was suffering Parkinson's and was soon due to undergo cancer surgery, a topic which Republika previously covered.

- Putin appears to have not used the heavy blanket at first, moving and tucking it next to him when he first sit down. He then gave a speech in which he claimed Russia were fighting Nazis in Ukraine, and accused the West of planning to invade Crimea. But after his speech and when the state-controlled cameras pivoted back to him during the parade, Putin could be seen with the thick blanket covering his knees - the Sun report added.

According to this British tabloid, after the parade, Putin went for an extended walk, which, as it was stated, was an attempt to dispel rumors about his poor psychophysical condition.
