The famous football player Emmanuel Adebayor publicly supported the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
Because of this, he was exposed to severe attacks from the public, and suffered numerous insults on social media.
The former Togo national team member shared a photo on his Instagram profile from the RB awards ceremony in Moscow, which he attended last week.
- I like Putin as a person. Obviously, he is a man of character. When he says no, it means no. What I like most about him is his high degree of discipline. When he says something, he does it for sure - Adebayor sadi, as reported by numerous media from Great Britain.

The former striker of Arsenal, Manchester City , Tottenham and Real Madrid was compared to the former owner of Formula 1, Bernie Ecclestone, who recently said that he would take a bullet for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Adebayor is still in the world of football, currently playing for AC Semassi FC in his native Togo.
