Dutch police arrested a man, who is suspected of having killed two people and shooting a crossbow from a balcony, media report.

The incident took place in the Dutch town of Almelo.
Two people were stabbed to death and another was hurt, according to media claims. The police fired shots and the assailant.
The press states that the man with the crossbow fell off the balcony after allegedly being shot by the police. Media also claim that he reportedly continued shooting his crossbow at passers-by from him balcony, even after the bloodbath.
Certain Dutch media claim that one victim was found in the attacker's appartment, but that piece of information was not corroborated.
- The situation is now under control - the police spokesperson stated and added that they had no reasons to believe that the attacker had been motivated by terrorism.
The place of the attack was crowded with police and ambulance vehicles.
The police had previously been tipped off about an armed man on a balcony.
