ERDOGAN SNAPS BIDEN! He does not hesitate in spite of sanction threats against Turkey: Nobody can tell the Turkish people what to do, not a single person!

Turkey intends to continue buying the S-400 anti-aircraft missile defence systems from Russia, despite US disagreement and repeated warnings this country has been directing to Ankara.

This is what the President of Turkey said in his interview with CBS News, as reported by Sputnik.

- In the future, nobody will be able to interfere in terms of what kind of defense systems we acquire, from which country, at what level. Nobody can interfere with that. We are the only ones to make such decisions - Erdogan pointed out decisively and stressed that he would continue purchasing the Russian defence systems even though he is constantly being criticised and reminded that this is contrary to Turkey's position and membership within the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO).

Just before Erdoğan's statement was published, Alexander Mikheev, the Director General of "Rosoboronexport", the Russian state-run arms exporter, said that by the end of this year they will sign a new contract with Turkey related to the export of the S-400 systems.

As a reminder, the United States threatened Turkey with sanctions various times in the past, for bringing the US-Turkey NATO alliance into question and also due to Turkey's military cooperation with the Russian Federation.
