On this day in 2018, in an epic match played at the Rajko Mitić Stadium, Red Star defeated Liverpool 2-0 with goals scored by Milan Pavkov.
A result to remember, but another detail definitely marked that evening.
Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp went out on the field that evening, wearing Natalie's ramonda on his lapel. This flower symbolises and commemorates the Serbian victims in the First World War.
With this gesture, the German showed his greatness and just how much respect he had for the Serbian people.
