The relationship between Dijana and Jelena Djoković has always intrigued the public, and the suspicion that something is wrong between the two of them was additionally heated by the interview of Nole's mother in which she openly declared that she disagrees with her daughter-in-law when it comes to the nutrition and the upbringing of their children.

However, this was not the first time that Dijana publicly took a jab at Jelena. Namely, Dijana was no stranger to criticising Jelena's decisions before, and in an interview given four years ago, she revealed that Novak and Jelena are strict parents.

- Both Nole and Jelena are strict parents. Novak also knows how to make concessions, but they both have principles that must be respected, and I respect that. I would sometimes tell them: "Children, don't do that", but I always respect their decisions. As a parent myself, I was quite strict, but now I am lenient. That is the role of the grandmother. We have more free time than our parents, so we enjoy our grandchildren growing up - Dijana once said and complained that she only saw Tara when she was born.

- I love girls. My life wish was to have a daughter, but I have three wonderful sons and Tara filled that gap. I was happiest when she was born. I only saw her when Jelena gave birth to her, I hope to see her again soon. Also, Stefan is a wonderful boy, smart, bright and obedient.
