Two of the four qualifying tournaments for the World Basketball Championship in Australia in 2022 will be played in Belgrade between 10 and 13 February 2022, the Central Board of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has decided.

Along with the capital of Serbia, the hosts of the remaining two qualifying tournaments will be the Japanese city of Osaka and the American capital Washington.
The draw is scheduled for 23 November in Geneva.
16 national teams will participate in these four tournaments, four in each, and three national teams will secure a visa for Australia.
The following will participate in the qualifications: Serbia, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Russia, Nigeria, Mali, Brazil, Canada, Puerto Rico, USA, Australia, China, Japan and Korea.
