Portuguese media state that the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Portugal, Oliver Antić, fell off a cliff into the sea in Boca do Inferno, in Cascais, today, during the afternoon.

This news was conveyed by Correio da Manhã, which states that the ambassador of Serbia, who was on a working visit to the municipality of Cascais, accompanied by other diplomatic staff, asked the driver to stop the car next to one of the cliffs. Then, according to this paper, he fell off a cliff into the sea.

The services of the Maritime Police and the Estoril Fire Brigade were urgently alerted, who took Oliver Antić on board while he was still alive and tried to resuscitate him.
However, a source from the Lisbon District Aid Command confirmed that Antić died on the spot.
