Fierce STRIKE AGAINST BELGRADE due to the war in Ukraine!

This year's EuroLeague Final Four is scheduled to take place in Belgrade between 19 and 21 May.

This was not met with the enthusiasm of everyone across Europe...

Zalgiris Kaunas director Paulius Motiejunas believes that this is the wrong decision due to the war in Ukraine:

- As a Lithuanian, seeing a whole picture of war, I’d say it is wrong time & place [to have a Euroleague Final Four in Belgrade]. The decision was made earlier & there are no ways to undo it. But if you ask me if it’s a right place, I would say no. We were surprised by the criteria for which we were fined. It basically says that we were fined for showing a sign of support for Ukraine. That surprised us - Motiejunas said.
