The Russian was honest: I won't be asking Novak THAT, it's beneath me!

Daniil Medvedev is known as a tennis player who is least suited to the grass.

However, this season he is showing some very good results on the grass court. In the final of 's-Hertogenbosch, he was defeated by Tim van Rijthoven, while in Halle he will fight for the title against Hubert Hurkacz. 

The journalists were interested in whether they would ask some colleagues for advice about playing on the grass.

- No, I’m not going to talk about this with other tennis players, maybe only with my best friends on tour - Danil replied and then added:

- But I’m not going to go to Novak Djoković and say, ‘Man, how do you play so good on grass? Teach me some tricks’, and then I’m playing final against him and he’s like, ‘damn! Why did I do it? So, I will not even try. It’s not right and also, I really like to work on myself by myself. 

As it is already known, Medvedev will not participate in this year's Wimbledon, due to the ban imposed on Russian and Belarusian tennis players.
