Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the public in the middle of Saturday night and sent a clear message to Moscow - "it's time to talk".

Zelenskyy said on his Facebook that he wanted the whole world to hear him, but especially Russia, and warned that if there were no peace talks, several future generations of Russians would not be able to repair the damage done to their country.

- I want everyone to hear me, but especially Moscow. It is time to meet, it is time to talk, it is time to restore territorial integrity and justice to Ukraine, otherwise Russia will suffer such losses that several generations will not be enough to rise again - he said.

- Russian military action worsens the situation for Russia itself, and honest negotiations without delay are the only way to repair the damage. We have always insisted on negotiations. We have always proposed dialogue and solutions for peace. And not just during these 23 days of invasion - Zelenskyy said.

Earlier, the Russian side expressed readiness to continue negotiations, and allegedly Vladimir Putin is also ready to meet Zelenskyy face to face.
