Petition launched: Fans demand that Novak be allowed to participate in the US Open!

Nearly six thousand people have signed a petition asking the United States authorities to allow the best Serbian tennis player, Novak Djoković, to play in tournaments in this country, American media report.

Fans of the best Serbian tennis player are disappointed, because Djoković will not be able to play on American soil due to the current rules on vaccination.

The American media remind that Djoković is still registered as an unvaccinated foreigner, which is why he cannot play on the territory of the United States.

- There is absolutely no reason at this stage of the pandemic to not allow Djokovic to play at the US Open 2022. US Government and USTA must work together to allow him to play. If unvaccinated American players can play, Djokovic as one of the legends of the game must be allowed to play. MAKE IT HAPPEN, USTA! - the explanation of this petition states.
