A CRASH WAS HEARD AND THE PROGRAMME WAS INTERRUPTED: The candidate for Johnson's successor mentioned Putin, and then there was chaos (VIDEO)
A debate between the two remaining candidates in the race to become Conservative leader and successor to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Foreign Secretary Liz Truss and former chancellor Rishi Sunak, was interrupted after a sudden crash was heard in the studio where they were guests.
The whole incident happened at the moment when the candidates were answering a question about the upcoming winter and energy sources.
When asked if he had the guts to stand up to Vladimir Putin if he decided to cut off gas supplies, Sunak immediately answered in the affirmative.
The host then asked Liz Truss how she would convince people to support her when the price of standing up to Putin is so high.
- The cost of not doing anything to stand up to Vladimir Putin is immense. If he succeeds in Ukraine, he is not going to stop there - she replied.
She then said that if Putin succeeded in Ukraine, he would not stop there. Then there was a bang and a crash in the studio and the show was interrupted.
Truss looked shocked and quite scared at that moment.
